Philosophy
And less so….
Religion/Christianity

A big enough goal at this point would be to work toward any goal where my name would end with either MD or PhD.
On the Wikipedia for Autodidacticism, there is a section labelled: Some notable autodidacts can be broadly grouped in the following interdisciplinary areas:
Artists & Authors
Actors, Musicians, and other artists
Architects
Engineers & Inventors
Scientists, Historians, & Educators
And, I have added (from my own research) Mathematicians, Philosophers, and anything having to do with Computers.
My friend has a website: http://www.autodidact.com/index/html and has written many books on the subject.
I have done it. Just sitting there is my ability to do the MFA in Creative Writing degree at Liberty University. I can start this Summer or in the Fall, but all I have to do is start.
I love History. I love Ancient and Classical History. In order to study this part of History I would also have to study the German and the French languages. I also get the Primary sources and Secondary sources division, but what I don’t get, or want to study, is the Historiography part of history. Why people wrote what they wrote, their opinions and prejudices, in essence their slant. Touch on Historiography? Sure! Become bogged down and immersed in Historiography? NO!
I love History.
I especially love Medieval History.
If I get a Masters in History, then I can get a PhD in Medieval History.
I am waiting for Liberty University to accept me in their MFA in Creative Writing program so that I can switch schools and spend less per credit. If I am not accepted, Liberty University has an MA in Professional Writing degree that I like.
I have already paid for the first class in MA in Humanities based on the Great Books of the Western World. After the first class is over I may continue with MA in Humanities, or I might switch to one of the MA in History degrees or I may have already moved on to Liberty.
My chief goal is to read much more than I have been and to work on High Range IQ tests.
I have done everything possible to become a Graduate student of Liberty University this morning. I have broken through and established a working account with Liberty. I have sent them a sample of my writing. I have contacted Parchment and now the wheels are turning getting my BA transcripts from Excelsior College/University to Liberty University. I have initiated the Military ID Me process which will qualify me for $275 per Graduate semester credit.
Just waiting on the wheels to turn.
MA in Humanities based on the Great Books of the Western World from American Public University starts 6 May 2024.
Many people have told me that I am a teacher. I make no such claim.
To me, teaching is primarily about turning people onto beautiful goals.
Those that can, do.
Those that cannot, teach.
Those that cannot teach, teach gym.
Those that cannot teach gym, work for Boeing.
