I have owned a 323 BC Greek hand-made bronze coin for about half of my life. It was made to commemorate the passing of Alexander the Great.
Alexander the Great was taught by Aristotle (384 BC – 322 BC).
Aristotle was taught by Plato (~427 BC – 348 BC).
Plato was taught by Socrates (~470 BC – 399 BC).
Socrates was the founder of Western Philosophy.
