The Battle of Hasting was fought on 14 Oct 1066 between Harold II and William, Duke of Normandy.
I descend from both sides of the Battle of Hastings, and hope to be around at the thousand year anniversary in 2066. I will be 104 at that time.

I think everyone who is in Covenant with God will be on Earth in 2066 after the Great tribulation has passed and Jesus sets up His Kingdom, but I don’t know if they will commemorate that battle that day, although ironically, those from that battle who died saved might regale us with her own tales from both sides of that battle and laugh at the whole thing no matter which side they were on and maybe even recreate scenes from it (with no harm to themselves because they will have glorified buddies which can’t be hurt)! That would be quite interesting, especially doing it on site at Hastings for everyone to enjoy and be educated by (although we would all have the ability to go back in time and witness the spectacle itself because we wouldn’t be bound by time or space)! Interesting thought huh? By the way, my wife and I descend from members of that battle as well, so you and I would definitely be cousins, about which you had asked previously on Messenger! ππβ€οΈπ
